The Use of Cooperative Learning in Senior High School English Writing Teaching

English writing level is an important indicator of the comprehensive quality of English. Traditional English writing teaching is inefficient, so the cooperative learning method has been applied to high school English writing teaching to cultivate students’ awareness of communication and collaboration in writing. The present study aims to summarize the current problems in high school English writing teaching and the effects of cooperative learning. In light of these studies, it is concluded that the cooperative learning method plays a critical role in English writing teaching, and teachers need to combine it with other methods to improve students’ writing ability and teaching quality.
