Evaluation and Reflection on the Implementation of English-only Policy in an EFL context for Young Learners

Abstract

In China, English Only Policy (EOP) is a requirement made in some English training institutions, where both teachers and students are required to speak only English in the classroom in order to create an immersive environment for EFL learners’ acquisition. This paper discusses the implementation of the policy in one international education company in that specializes in language training in China, and some suggestions were given to solve the problems existing in English teaching process based on the policy.
