The Influence of Culture on Economic Development

The excellent Chinese traditional culture, which has been continuously passed down and developed with the changes of the times, subtly shapes people's thinking and behavior patterns, which not only enriches the spiritual world of human beings, but also gradually becomes the eternal vitality of sustainable economic and social development. Based on the theory of humanistic economics, this paper takes the quantity of intangible cultural heritage as the index of cultural development level to further study the role and influence mechanism of culture on economic development. The results show that the cultural variables represented by intangible cultural heritage have a significant positive effect on economic development; Culture can help regional economic development through innovation, capital and industrial structure transformation mechanism; At the same time, the influence of culture on economy exists regional heterogeneity. Guided by cultural thought and economic thought, this study aims to deeply understand the economic value of the culture represented by intangible cultural heritage, and provide theoretical basis for inheriting and developing excellent traditional culture and promoting economic and social development.
