Abstract

The theory that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", namely the "Two Mountains" Theory, has become the core guiding ideology for ecological civilization construction and rural revitalization in China. As an important carrier connecting farmers with the market and promoting the coordinated development of rural economy and ecology, cooperatives play a key role in advancing the green transformation of agriculture and realizing the value conversion of ecological resources. From the perspective of the "Two Mountains" Theory, this paper systematically analyzes the current situation and existing dilemmas of the green development of cooperatives, and further explores the specific paths of cooperatives in terms of ecological industry development, ecological protection, value realization of ecological products, scientific and technological innovation and policy support. The study holds that cooperatives should adhere to the concept of green development, promote the in-depth integration of ecology and economy, realize the organic unity of ecological, economic and social benefits, and facilitate the high-quality and sustainable development of rural economy.
