Abstract

Nowadays, with the rapid development of science, technology and economy, there exist new requirements for education, which means that the responsibility of teachers today is not only to teach students professional knowledge, but also to continuously integrate relevant ideological and political content into the course. This is in line with the development needs of current university education because it can not only enrich the teaching content, but also enhance the moral thought of students. College teachers should actively respond to the call of the state, and strive to integrate course ideological and political education into course teaching process properly, in order to achieve the teaching goal of cultivating virtues and morality. Therefore, this paper studies the integration of college English teaching and course ideological and political education. First of all, a brief introduction to the course ideological and political related content. Secondly, it analyzes the advantages of the integration of college English teaching and course ideological and political education. Finally, the paper puts forward the methods of integrating college English teaching with course ideological and political education. The purpose of this paper is to provide some valuable references for college English teachers in their teaching practice by analyzing and exploring the integration of college English teaching and course ideology and political education.
