Bamboo culture constitutes a significant component of Chinese civilization, possessing profound historical connotations and extensive influence. This study proposes a multi-source historical data-driven visual analytics system for bamboo culture. It aims to integrate fragmented, multi-temporal, and multi-dimensional bamboo cultural materials through visualization techniques, thereby intuitively presenting its developmental trajectory, social correlations, and cultural carriers. The system employs a time-series framework as its backbone, incorporating social data such as population, cultivated land area, and Chinese characters with the "bamboo" radical, along with information on cultural carriers including bamboo music, bamboo painting, bamboo poetry, and bamboo artifacts. An interactive interface featuring a Bagua (Eight-Trigram) inspired timeline coordinated with multiple linked views was developed, supporting users in exploring the historical evolution of bamboo culture from macro to micro perspectives. This research provides a novel technological pathway and visualization support for the digital preservation and public dissemination of bamboo culture.
