With the rapid development of digital technology, digital agricultural financial services, as the most critical support for rural revitalization and agricultural modernization, are gradually transforming the traditional financial service models in agriculture. The advancement of global digital transformation has made digital agricultural financial services an increasingly important means of enhancing rural economic development and promoting income growth for farmers. This paper provides a systematic analysis of the definition, current status, and impact of digital agricultural financial services on the farmer economy, exploring how digital technology affects the financial accessibility, production efficiency, and income levels of farmers. The study indicates that digital agricultural financial services can significantly improve the financial environment for farmers, reduce financing costs, enhance agricultural production efficiency, and thereby foster the development of the farmer economy. However, the development process also faces challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, information asymmetry, and technological acceptance.Upon thorough examination, the study posits that digital financial services in agriculture are pivotal for fostering the enduring growth of both farming and rural economies. However, their complete potential is achievable only with collaborative efforts and synchronized actions among governments, financial entities, agricultural businesses, and farmers. Looking ahead, as digital technology continues to advance, these services are anticipated to offer more robust backing for advancing agricultural modernization and executing rural development initiatives.
