Abstract

Cross-border e-commerce has changed as a result of the quick development of intelligent logistics technologies, which have improved supply chain operations, decreased operating costs, and increased efficiency. To optimise operations, intelligent logistics makes use of cutting-edge technologies including automation, big data analytics, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI). This study examines how intelligent logistics affects cross-border e-commerce efficiency, emphasising how it enhances inventory control, order fulfilment, last-mile delivery, and customer satisfaction. Insightful logistics tactics may generate competitive advantage, as illustrated by real-world case studies of industry leaders like Amazon, Alibaba, and JD Logistics. Emerging issues like cybersecurity threats, regulatory compliance, and the upfront costs associated with digital transformation are also covered in the study. Businesses must implement these technologies as intelligent logistics develops further in order to improve operational performance and stay competitive in the global market. Future developments in intelligent logistics, including hyper-automation, AI-powered decision-making, and autonomous supply chains, will further influence cross-border e-commerce. The study also looks at how AI-powered customer support, cloud-based logistics management, and digital twins can guarantee smooth and effective supply chain operations. Additionally covered is the growing use of smart contracts for compliance monitoring and automated payment processing, underscoring the significance of digital transformation in contemporary e-commerce logistics. In order to guarantee that companies can optimise the advantages of intelligent logistics technologies, the study concludes by assessing potential adoption barriers and solutions.
