Abstract

Against the backdrop of intensifying global climate change, climate risk poses a significant challenge to corporate sustainable development, and climate information disclosure has become a key means for corporations to address climate risk. This paper takes Swire Properties as an example to study its climate disclosure practices under the TCFD framework. By analyzing Swire Properties' implementation of the four aspects of governance, strategy, risk management, indicators and targets, the paper explores its innovative practices in addressing climate change and its successful experience in standardizing disclosure. The study finds that its disclosure practices have not only improved corporate transparency, but also enhanced investor confidence. This paper hopes that the study of Swire Properties will provide a valuable reference for other companies in terms of climate information disclosure.
