Marcuse's Theory of Scientific and Technological Alienation and its Contemporary Reflections

Abstract

Alienation is an important concept of Marx's philosophy, and Marcuse absorbed Marx's idea of alienation and put forward the theory of technological alienation under new conditions. This technical rationality constantly satisfies people's false needs, so that people's negative sexual dimension and critical dimension are constantly lost, which eventually leads to the formation of one-dimensional and one-dimensional society.
