The Impact Mechanism and Empirical Test of Rural Collective Economy on Common Prosperity

The rural collective economy is an important part of the economic development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and is of great significance to achieving common prosperity. Select China's 31 provincial panel data from 2012 to 2021 , use the entropy method to measure the development index of the rural collective economy and common prosperity, use the panel regression model to explore the impact of the rural collective economy on common prosperity, and conduct a heterogeneity test. The conclusions drawn are as follows: first, the rural collective economy can significantly and positively promote the realization of common prosperity. After robustness and endogeneity tests, this conclusion still holds; second, the rural collective economy can increase farmers’ income and optimize resources by promoting Allocation indirectly promotes the realization of common prosperity; third, the impact of rural collective economy on common prosperity has significant temporal and regional heterogeneity. Based on this, suggestions are put forward to improve local policies, protect farmers' interests, and optimize resource allocation.
