The Model of House Translation Quality Assessment is mostly used in non-literary translation, but rarely in literary translation. This study applies House TQA Model to analyze Shakespeare's sonnet 18 translated by Tu An. It finds that in field the translation faithfully expresses the thematic meaning of the original poem as the permanence of man and nature. In mode the translation shows a stronger emotion of the poet than that of the original. In tenor the translation is weaker in information, clearer in reference and stronger in non-abstraction than the original. This study can further understand and analyze the Chinese translation of Shakespeare's sonnets from the perspective of House TQA Model, which is conductive to exploring the theoretical and practical significance of House TQA Model for poetry translation quality assessment.
