Abstract

To gain a deeper understanding of the issue of drug relapse among individuals undergoing treatment, we aim to formulate scientifically effective strategies and interventions to reduce the rate of relapse. By analyzing cases like those of Ding, Xu, and Wang who have relapsed, we explore the factors influencing relapse among these individuals, including personal factors such as psychological dependence, misconceptions, and personality flaws, as well as social and familial factors like environmental influences and family indifference. We propose countermeasures to prevent relapse, such as personal discipline, family care, and social support. It is emphasized that only through the joint efforts of all parties can the success rate of drug treatment be improved and the rate of relapse reduced, thereby creating a favorable environment for recovery for those undergoing treatment.
