Counselors play a critical role in the ideological and political education of college students. Their work aims to educate and influence college students in an all-round way through ideological guidance, educational instruction, management supervision, communication and coordination, etc., to help students establish correct values and ideological outlook, and to improve students' quality of ideology and politics and comprehensive. Counselors use their own professional knowledge and accumulated experiences to make themselves important mentors and guides on the path of students' growth. Therefore, counselors should improve their comprehensive quality, give more emotional care to students, provide valuable guidance and support for the growth of college students, and promote the overall healthy development of students.
