Abstract

Traditional villages are a profound condensation of regional landscapes and traditional cultures. From the perspective of landscape genes, selecting, refining, and summarizing the landscape characteristics of traditional villages, and deeply analyzing their landscape features and cultural cores, is an important direction and entry point for studying traditional villages. This paper, based on the concept of landscape genes, takes 49 traditional villages in Huanggang City as the research object, analyzes the landscape characteristics of traditional villages in Huanggang City, and constructs a landscape gene map, providing theoretical and material support for the gene activation, village tourism development, and sustainable development of traditional villages in Huanggang City.
