The movie "A Chinese Odyssey", as a surrealistic magic movie, became a cultural totem in the late nineties, and the main love story as a clue throughout the whole drama has always been enjoyed by people. Characters such as Supreme Treasure and Zixia Fairy have unique love relationships, and the movie weaves a complex web of love. In this paper, the famous psychoanalyst Lacan's philosophical theories are used to hermeneutically analyze the love relationship in the movie, so as to prove the impossible truth of love in A Chinese Odyssey.
