Unlike the historical period when the ideal of a "commonwealth" society was proposed and discussed, which could never go beyond the limitations of that era and historical conditions, the CPC adheres to the "soul" of the basic principles of Marxism and the "root" of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and reaches the convergence of "tradition" and "modernity" through inheritance and innovation, in order to give a shared future for mankind a "cultural root". The CPC adheres to the "soul" of the basic principles of Marxism and the "root" of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and achieves the fusion and convergence of "tradition" and "modernity" in the course of inheritance and innovation, in order to give a shared future for mankind a "cultural foundation". "The Communist Party of China (CPC) insists on the principle of being open to the whole world. The CPC adheres to the sentiment of having the whole world in mind, and realizes the sublimation of the traditional culture's concept of "commonwealth of the world" and the inheritance of Marxism's idea of "true community" with the concept of a shared future for mankind, completing the transformation of the "Western-centeredness" of the world. It has transcended the zero-sum game thinking of "Western-centrism", embodies China's responsibility and bearing as a major international country, and continuously promotes dialogue and exchange of world civilizations, mutual learning and mutual appreciation, making new contributions to the progress of human civilization and the peaceful development of the world.
