Abstract

This study focuses on the black pottery culture and explores the innovative path of Rizhao marathon souvenir styling design in depth. Nowadays, marathon events are booming worldwide, and souvenirs have become an important carrier to convey the spirit of the event and local culture. Rizhao's unique natural resources and deep cultural heritage provide rich materials for souvenir design. Among them, black pottery, as a local craft with deep historical accumulation, becomes the core element of the design. This study adopts a combination of literature analysis, case study and program design to analyze the artistic characteristics of black pottery culture and the spirit of the marathon, and then integrates the two organically through innovative design to create souvenirs with cultural connotations and market attraction. The results of the study show that the integration of the simple shape of black pottery and the dynamic elements of the marathon not only conveys the spirit of the race, but also highlights the local characteristics and cultural values. Combining local traditional crafts with modern design concepts not only enhances the artistic value of souvenirs, but also strengthens the cultural identity and market competitiveness of the event brand.
