Brief theory on the Genealogy of Plant Patterns in Jingdezhen Export Porcelain

The quantity of Jingdezhen ceramics exported overseas was huge, and the themes were roughly about heraldry (also known as badges), stories of figures, as well as plant patterns such as flowers, grass, etc.Plant patterns accounted for the vast majority among the patterns on Jingdezhen export porcelain. This paper mainly analyzes and elaborates on the origin of plant patterns, their composition and layout, as well as the sources, types and development of leaf patterns and flower patterns.
