A Study on the Psychological Mechanisms of English Error Solidification Phenomenon

In the course of learning, the same English errors may arise again even after the wrong answer of the exercise has been corrected. Based on the questionnaire,this paper aims to analyze the fundamental reason of this phenomenon from the perspective of schema theory and thinking structure. In the end, it indicates that teachers and students should take advantage of the positive functions of the above two theories to decrease the frequency of mistakes.
