The spirit of scientists in the new era is a crucial measure to guide the development of graduate supervisor teams and accelerate the building of a world power in science and technology. In terms of internal logic, its logical starting point is the spirit of patriotism; the spirits of innovation, seeking truth, dedication, and collaboration together form its logical middle term; and the spirit of educating people is its logical end term. The spirit of scientists in the new era has rich connotations. It points out the practical path for the high-quality and professional development of graduate supervisor teams in the new era from aspects such as deepening political guidance to consolidate the ideological foundation, strengthening the construction of teachers' ethics to cultivate the spiritual heritage, optimizing government functions to consolidate service guarantees, and refining publicity channels to promote the demeanor of scientific research.
