Abstract

Against the backdrop of the in-depth advancement of the "Project of Cultivating New Era Talents with Strong Convictions" and the full implementation of the education system featuring "simultaneous development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education", the traditional service model of university libraries can no longer meet the needs of venue-based education. Taking the Library of Tianjin University of Technology and Education as the research carrier and supported by the embodied cognition theory, this paper discusses how to construct a venue-based education model with "book repair" as the core link and "hands-on book repair - intellectual reading - heartfelt comprehension of principles" as the logical main line.
