Abstract

This research focus on the influence of internet buzzwords on the language expression habits of adolescents from the field of media psychology studies. With the development of social media, adolescents are increasingly exposed to the Internet, and the Internet inevitably influences adolescents. This research seeks to explore the linguistic expression habitats of adolescents in order to develop better coping strategies in the future to reduce the phenomenon of adolescent language deprivation. A questionnaire survey helped collect the data, with over 70 questionnaires from teenagers, from which the teenagers' own perceptions of Internet buzzwords and their perceived impact were analyzed. Research have found that adolescents are largely influenced by Internet buzzwords, but the influence is also divided into positive and negative effects. Some adolescents will face problems such as lack of language, but society is more tolerant of internet buzzwords, and internet buzzwords can also help adolescents make better friends and integrate into society.
