This paper, in line with the new trends in grammar teaching research, discusses the impact of intentional attention and consciousness arousal on language learning. It outlines the characteristics of corpora and their application in grammar teaching. Taking the teaching of conditional clause as an example, it utilizes the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English (MICASE) to design grammar exercises, demonstrating through examples the significant role that corpora play in grammar instruction.
