Abstract

This paper reviews the research progress of smart beds equipped with pressure sensors. The development of smart beds conforms to the trends of population aging and the growth of investment in health technologies, and has broad prospects in the medical and home - care fields. The research on smart beds has evolved from simple medical beds in the early days to smart beds integrated with advanced technologies today. Sensors play a key role, such as MEMS sensors and custom - made sensors, which have various functions in monitoring vital signs and so on. In terms of design, smart beds focus on user experience and integrate technologies such as multi - language voice and brain - computer interfaces. They are easy to operate and can adapt to different populations. In terms of function, they can monitor vital signs in real - time and assist people with limited mobility. Currently, smart beds still have problems in terms of accuracy, data processing, and user acceptance. In the future, the market in this field is expected to experience significant growth.
