Abstract

Stepper motors are widely used in industrial automation due to their open-loop control characteristics. However, they are prone to issues such as vibration, noise, and positioning inaccuracies, which are affected by load variations and drive methods. This paper proposes an optimization scheme based on closed-loop PID control and the S-curve acceleration/deceleration algorithm. Through theoretical analysis and MATLAB/Simulink simulation experiments, the approach is demonstrated to significantly improve the dynamic performance and positioning accuracy of stepper motors. Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively reduces system vibration and overshoot, with positioning errors approaching zero, providing reliable support for stepper motor control in complex industrial scenarios.
