An Inquiry into the Development of Cultural Educational Tourism based on SWOT-PEST Analysis: A Case Study of Yongzhou's Cultural Educational Tour

Amidst the burgeoning growth of tourism, especially in the context of the great development of cultural study tours, this study integrated SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) with PEST analysis (Political, Economic, Sociocultural, Technological) to scrutinize the internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats, pertinent to the operation of cultural pedagogical tourism in Yongzhou City. The aim is to identify deficiencies in the development of Yongzhou’s cultural educational travel sector and to delineate focal points for future endeavors. This approach will furnish strategic recommendations for the advancement of cultural educational tourism in Yongzhou City, thereby contributing to a sustainable developmental strategy blueprint for similar initiatives in other regional cities.
