Abstract

This paper discusses the sustainable development strategies of international cooperation projects in higher vocational colleges under the "Double High Plan" background. Then, based on this, it analyzes the current situation and types and characteristics, effectiveness evaluation, and challenges of international cooperation projects in higher vocational colleges. The research found out that international cooperation projects in higher vocational colleges have attainment attributes of fine results concerning improvement in education quality and internationalization, but challenges in management of projects and faculty. Based on the four aspects-guarantee of education quality, innovation of the models of international cooperation, integration of industry and education, and cooperation between schools and enterprises-the paper raises strategies to improve the sustainable development of Projects and summarizes successful projects through case analysis. This paper contends that sound assurance mechanisms for quality, innovative models of cooperation, and strengthened cooperation are three major keys to achieving sustainable development in higher vocational colleges' international cooperation projects.
