Effect of Intellectual Thinking on Social and Emotional Skills among Thai College Students

Abstract

This study is based on the Big Five personality model of the 2018 OECD study to study the influence of intellectual thinking on Social and Emotional Skills of Thai college students. The results show that there is no significant difference in intellectual thinking among students, but at different ages and in different colleges; and in Social and Emotional Skills; intellectual thinking has a positive prediction effect on Social and Emotional Skills of college students (β =.222, t =12.065, p =.000). The results provide the latest practical data for promoting the cultivation of intellectual thinking and Social and Emotional Skills in Thailand.
