Abstract

With artificial intelligence technology being applied in various fields, the reform of college English teaching supported by modern technology is urgently needed. Based on the blended teaching reform that shifts from "teacher-centered" to "student-centered", artificial intelligence technology has deepened the integration of technical means and teaching systems. This paper explores the role of artificial intelligence in blended teaching of college English, expounds its application in the design, implementation and evaluation of college English blended teaching, and looks forward to the application prospects. Artificial intelligence will further promote the optimization and innovation of blended teaching models and bring more possibilities and challenges to college English teaching.
