Language transfer refers to the influence of the learning of the former language on the learning of the latter language in the acquisition of language. This effect is divided into positive and negative transfer. Positive transfer refers to the former to promote the latter’s learning. In recent years, the phenomenon of positive transfer has been paid more attention by foreign language teaching workers in China, especially in middle school English teaching. Students can get twice the result with half the effort by using the similarities between Chinese and English in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. This paper will analyze the positive transfer of Chinese in middle school English learning from multi-level angles.
