With the rapid development of society and the intensification of competitive pressure, the mental health problems of college students are becoming more and more prominent, and there is an urgent need to build a scientific and efficient mental health assistance system. This paper analyzes the current situation of college students' mental health and the deficiencies of the existing assistance system in terms of curriculum, consulting services, crisis intervention, professional team building and social support, and puts forward targeted optimization strategies, including perfecting the mental health education curriculum, expanding the service channels, perfecting the crisis intervention mechanism, strengthening the professional team building, and innovating the way of resource integration. By starting from four levels: school, society, family and individual, a hierarchical, orderly and efficiently functioning support system is constructed. This study provides theoretical basis and practical reference for improving the mental health of college students, aiming to promote college students to realize comprehensive progress in academic, social and personal development.
