This paper focuses on the practical application of curriculum-based ideological and political education in the course Environmental Design and Production to empower rural revitalization. It elaborates on the necessity of integrating curriculum-based ideological and political education into rural revitalization strategies and provides a detailed analysis of the teaching practices involved, including curriculum content optimization and instructional method innovation. The paper presents the course’s achievements in talent cultivation, rural infrastructure development, and cultural inheritance, while also addressing the challenges encountered during implementation and proposing corresponding strategies. The aim is to provide valuable references and insights for higher education institutions on how relevant courses can contribute to rural revitalization.
