Abstract

This paper presents an empirical analysis of the issue of the employment quality among ethnic minority migrant population based on the 2017 China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS) data. Firstly, principal component analysis is used to construct an indicator system for the employment quality of the ethnic minority migrant population, followed by descriptive statistical analysis of the employment quality according to the constructed indicator system. Then, the OLS regression model is used to further explore the influence of various factors under individual, social and mobility characteristics on the employment quality of the ethnic minority migrant population. Finally, corresponding countermeasures are proposed to improve the employment quality of the ethnic minority migrant population.
