Abstract

The Coase Theorem has several crucial assumptions, including the absence of market power differences, the absence of transaction costs or bargaining costs, perfect information symmetry, efficient markets for all relevant goods and production factors, and the absence of the endowment effect on economic agents. This paper discusses the influence of Coas theorem on environmental decision making.
