Investigation on Current Situation of Empathic Ability of Secondary Vocational Students and Educational Countermeasures

Abstract

A random sampling method was used to investigate 800 secondary vocational students in Sichuan province.The effective recovery rate was 87%,and the subjects' age was 16.4±0.54.The results: the average score of empathy of secondary vocational students in this study was 71.64±10.18,and the empathy score was above the medium level.Some students' empathic ability needed improvement.And,the empathy score was significantly different in different demographic characteristics.According to the characteristics of different students,educators should adopt different educational methods to help them improve empathic ability and healthy growth.
