With the widespread application of corpus technology, machine translation quality has significantly improved. While machine translation offers advantages such as speed and convenience, it also has limitations. This paper focuses on selected excerpts from the "Book of Jin," comparing human and machine translations. By establishing a corpus, this study examines the differences between human and machine translations in literary texts. The findings indicate that although the quality of machine translation has improved, it still struggles to fully grasp many cultural nuances, often providing insufficient contextual information and relying too heavily on literal translations. To enhance translation efficiency, the paper recommends integrating machine translation with human translation while continuously improving machine translation quality.
