Abstract

To relieve the pressure of government investment and high-cost operation in major infrastructure projects, the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) is widely used in transportation engineering projects, especially urban rail projects. In this paper, we use Excel and Citespace software to categorize the research hotspots and analyze the trend changes to visualize the cooperation network analysis by searching 217 academic papers in core journals of Zhiwang, CSI, EI, CSSCI, and CSCD by keywords "PPP and transportation". Nowadays, the research of PPP-Transportation Engineering mainly focuses on the construction of risk management systems, performance evaluation systems, subsidy scheme decision systems, and operation mode selection methods for the whole life cycle of urban rail projects. This paper also analyzes the one-sidedness and research blind spots in the field of PPP_transportation, and provides research ideas for building a complete knowledge system and application development in the field of PPP-transportation in the future.
